BUG: new original - Performer WITH (vocalist info)

Could the PERFORMER input field be improved so that it would had two separate FIELDS:

Vocalist(s) or additional info:

Currently as as single FIELD, when starting to type in performer with information that is not yet in database, you're forced to research all the PERFORMER data (cover picture, web site, birth, death ...) although they are ALREADY in the database.

This would be a huge improvement.

If I understand your problem, this is a known and unavoidable limitation due technical restraints, etc. All I can do is suggest my own workaround.

Say that you want to submit a duet by Barbra Streisand and VV of "Baby, It's Cold Outside". Since there are no current performances on site by this now legendary pair, if you enter "Barbra Streisand and VV" the system thinks its a new artist. What I do is enter just "Barbra Streisand" and continue as usual. In the free part of the submission (where you can type anything you want), add something like "With [VV: internal link].

Doing this will submit just under "Barbra Streisand" and will be listed under her name, but the processing editor will see that it's actually a duet (that the world surely needs to hear).
