Looking at All out of Love
... which is currently just indexed to We Are Not Islands [2005]
As of this post, I have this indexed to "The Singer And The Song" [2005] by Air Supply
https://www.discogs.com/Air-Supply-The-Singer-and-The-Song/release/11089500
https://music.apple.com/us/album/the-singer-and-the-song/130046758

..., which per my notes contains re-recordings and new material (e.g. the performance at issue). I don't recall why I opted to index to the Air Supply album, and after some efforts, I can't now say which release came first.
This begs the question, what should be done when there is more than one candidate for an original release. My rule is to default to an album over a single, the performing artist's release over a various; however, that's no help here.
I would think that, at a minimum, a comment should be added; however, in my view the best practice is to add both releases and add a comment to document the situation and be better prepared if more info is found later. Thoughts?
