Collapsing too many aliases

Some of our artists feature a huge list of aliases, take Sam Lanin for example:

The problem is that the data that matters most for us, the original and the covers, are pushed too far down. Therefore, Mathieu has introduced a feature of collapsing aliases. More specifically, if there are more than 3, they will be hidden behind a "read more" button:

It's hard to believe, but this ticket was planned 8 (!) years ago by good old Denis !

My only thought is to show the most commonly used aliases as the default three (3) but reordered alpha-beta for a full list.

I agree - showing the three most common aliases would be ideal, if it's possible technically as dudek said.

Agreed hence a "thought" rather than a straight suggestion. A perfect world suggestion, but not really worth a ton of work to make it happen.

Read and same remark for the three alias based on the number of related performances… therefore for Lanin:

______

If it's quantified, it's possible.

The 3 most common could be based on one of 4 columns (Total / Performances / Releases / Web Covers) in the screenshot.

Thanks for the mock-up Smile Love it Smile

I don't know if it's on purpose or not, but this is exactly what the column TOTAL would have generated:
