Probably the user wants to know what criteria we use for this tag.... we do not explain this anywhere on site (accessible to all users)....
Perhaps adding a small info button - opening some brief text on the criteria used - next to the tag will do the trick....
It's automatically applied for any song that charts at number 20 or higher. However, I'm not sure there's a clear agreement on what chart to use in countries like the US where there are genre-specific charts.

When you hover the tag it now says Top20 in any chart worldwide. (Not sure how I can make a screenshot)

I don't have that, but it's present under "Info"

The problem is the description also determines how it shows in the performance list, so if you change it you also get "Top20..." in the performance list rather than "hit song"
