Is there a way to switch the "DNA tree" of songs around when no one is responding to error reports? For example: Connie's Wedding
Connie's Wedding was a (partial) audio rip from the movie set of The Godfather, cut together fast and cheap for the 1972 soundtrack as a mashup of two compositions. The original full length themes that were heard at the wedding and recorded for the soundtrack (before being scrapped and locked away for 50 years) are The Godfather Tarantella and The Godfather Mazurka. So Connie's Wedding is an adaptation thereof and not the other way around. Connie's Wedding is NOT the original version, meaning I don't want to submit the originals as adaptations when it needs to be the other way around.
Said Tarantella and Mazurka were subsequently re-recorded and first released in 1972 on Carmine Coppola's The Godfather's Family Wedding Album after not making it to the OST. And then in 2022 for The Godfather 50th Anniversary soundtrack re-issue, the unreleased originals resurfaced. There have also been some lyrical adaptations in English and Italian and more instrumentals on other LPs in between the years that I have digitized and would love to submit as well, but again, as adaptations of the "mother track" Tarantella/Mazturka and not as that of another adaptation.
In case a song/theme that was submitted as the original would need to be deleted and replaced entirely with a corrected post, I obviously lack the power to do so. I didn't want to just spam new entries completely disregarding this incorrect one when I don't know if the existing one could be fixed and integrated.
