Is there an SHS guideline on the order of songwriting credits, specifically alphabetical? If so, should I and others bring to the editors' attention when not in compliance?
Example? Heaven Is a Place on Earth

No, there isn't. It's not possible to change it.

I can believe that the order isn't a guideline and that there's no reason to file a report, but I don't believe it's impossible to change the order to alpha-beta. I do believe that changing may not be worth the effort.

Editors can't change the order of the credits.

I highly doubt the credits can't be removed and then added back to reorder. Credits are sometimes adjusted with new info. That reordering isn't worth the effort I understand.
I could even see creating a new work with the "proper" order. It's not a big deal.

When an editor removes the credits and then adds them back, the order of the credits remain unchanged.

Then a new work could be created to replace. Again, if it's worth the effort is different than if it can be done.
Since there is no applicable guideline, the question is dead either way.

When an editor creates a new work with the credits in a different order, the order of the credits remain as they were the first time.

Why would that be? SHS data has memory?
Regardless, I'm rather confident that I've seen where the credits were reordered when the editor wanted to reorder. If the order isn't important to SHS, why are we still discussing this?
