Please welcome our first editor from Ohio: Oldiesmann !

To be accepted as an editor we now require contributors to dress up with animal hats... just joking! Michael is just someone who doesn't take himself too seriously Smile

His biggest interests goes to 50s and 60s music, although he has a wide variety of taste overall. He also has 261 pending submissions of his own right now, so he will know what to do in the weeks to come!

Glad to have you aboard!

Welcome, Michael!

I think in Jazz, the cutoff for calling something an "Oldie" is roughly 1935. We call 1960s Jazz "avant-garde" Grin

Congrats and welcome! I went to Oberlin and attended many concerts in Cleveland while there, so I have fond memories of Ohio. Smile

I'm more into the rock, pop and country genres Tongue

I'm from the opposite corner of the state so I'm not all that familiar with Cleveland. I did stop in the suburb of Brooklyn and explored a really cool park in the Cleveland area last summer though.

Welcome to the real thing!

tt seems hounddogman Michael from Denmark was a bit quicker with adding Cincinnati, Ohio...

Besides, don't hesitate to check out http://wfnk.com/ohioplayers/discography.html Tongue

Connie Smith's version of that song is played at every home game of the local baseball team Smile

Also that link doesn't work

The http://wfnk.com/ohioplayers/discography.html one? Wait a few seconds and see what happens...
