I received this error report https://secondhandsongs.com/case/108505 from VV and agree that the opening riff sounds like the riffs in both La Grange and Spirit in the Sky but I'm not sure if it's a standard blues riff or if either of those songs deserves to be credited. If so, which one? Can someone help sort this out?

On the La Grange details page it says
Uses parts from "Boogie Chillen' written by John Lee Hooker, Bernard Besman - Element - Guitar pattern and the "howl, howl, howl" vocal line"
IMO it would be sufficient to include this addition on the Here Comes Santa Claus / Jingle Bells details page.
you could also apply this addition to Spirit in the Sky , but IMO that riff is not exactly the Hooker riff.
Hooker had long acknowledged that his sound was far from original. He has often attributed his musical style of “boogie” as his version of the boogie-woogie style he heard growing up in Mississippi.
