For now, I encountered several IPI-numbers, who belong to another person.

Is it possible to check automatically if those numbers are already used to identify the artist/writer?

Example:

IPI: 00030302745 does NOT belong to Richard Dean Taylor, but to Richard Clifford Taylor.

I did not try it, but I think you can do it by clicking "detailed search", then choose "artists" and then click the IPI box in "search settings"....

You can enter IPI's directly in the search field at the top of each page.

Thanks for helping me out on this.

This posts may be closed, I don't know how to do it.
