spsr has posted some interesting thoughts about the need for a DRAFTS feature when posting submissions: https://secondhandsongs.com/message/213744

I'd like to hear if other contributors think there is a need for this and if you have additional comments or proposals.

To: vic.diriken DROSSELBOY Pencho15 rbrnb vinyljunkierekkids JeffC and anybody else who wants to share this thoughts 😊

A draft could be useful.

So far I think I have faced the issue of having an incomplete submisison one or twice, I have just submitted it as it is and then I come back to complete it later. Since they are not reviewed fast, at least in my case, I have not been worried about them getting rejected.

But there is always a risk that they are reviewed before they are ready so its ok to include it.

Rather confident this was suggested some years ago. Perhaps first determine why it didn't happen then.

I think having a "draft" status makes sense.

Okay, so this idea is widely supported by the Certified Contributors. Thanks everyone for replying, highly appreciated.

Mathieu : Is there anything specific you need to know before I create a ticket?
