There's a common adage that per the known laws of aerodynamics, bumblebees can't fly; however, obviously they can. What does SHS do when faced with a similar situation? Since B doesn't read post closing comments in a thread, decided to broaden the scope a bit and post here.
A songwriting credit discussion was recently closed for Cupid's Chokehold

There are still two similar reports still open. I had filed the second of these having missed and forgotten about the first:

As things ended, we have an unknown additional credit for an adaption due to the official databases when we have plenty of evidence of who that unknown person actually is. How does this reconcile with (e.g.) No Woman, No Cry (a constant irritation for me). An obvious inconsistency in my eyes, and the "Cupid's" visualization looks unsatisfactory if not silly as a result.
As I've advocated several times before, if SHS is going to use the official databases as gospel for writing credits, then there should be no deviations unless impossible to avoid, using the comments to note the actual, likely, etc. credits.
Based on my knowledge of the two referenced works, the proper credits would be Rick Davies, Roger Hodgson adapting their own song for "Cupid's" and Vincent Ford for "No Woman", using the comments to note the actual/likely credits.
