Before doing this I would like the opinions of the other forum members.
Here's my discussion point
The The Greenbriar Boys version of Stewball closely follows the lyrics of Woody Guthrie's version of Stewball and the music is also in a similar ballad style, but the Greenbriars could also have lifted the music from Pledging My Love
I would like to see this resemblance / adaptation relation reflected in the SHS database.
So the adaptationrelation of the Greenbriars' Stewball needs an adjustment.
It now says: Adapted from Skewball written by [Traditional]
I think it should be: Adapted from Stewball written by Woody Guthrie with a comment Lyrics
and also: Adapted from Pledging My Love with a comment Music
As a result, this work Happy Xmas (War Is Over) also needs an adjustment.
It now says Adapted from Stewball written by John Herald, Ralph Rinzler, Bob Yellin - new lyrics and a new counter-melody
I think it should be: Adapted from Pledging My Love written by Don Robey, Fats Washington - new lyrics and a new counter-melody
