Now that 2022 is behind us, it's interesting to see how traffic evolved. Excellent news: We have grown, as we have done every year in the past 19 (!) years:
- Users: +39% 1.121.969/month
- Pageviews: +20% 3.472.898/month
A huge thanks to all the editors and submitting users making this happen !! 🥳🎉🥳🎉
In the graph you notice a huge bump in August and September. That was Google sending us thousands of additional users for no appearant reason. It has boosted total traffic, but as you can see from the rest of the year we have been consistently outperforming 2021 anyway.
Where did all that traffic come from?
Apart from the usual suspects, some unexpected countries show up here: Seychelles (!), Czechia and Russia. Your guess is as good as ours 🤷♂️
Regarding the device, Desktop has taken back 3% from Mobile vs last year:
This is also unexpected and perhaps somehow related to the unexpected countries?
