Between the 30th and the 31st of March I proposed the spanish song called "El vito" and I noted that it is a traditional song. Up to 11 versions were proposed in those two days.

Today I remembered that melody again and I also remembered that I once heard John Coltrane play it. So, when an editor is fine to add them, it should take into account that Coltrane's original called "Olé" is simply a jazz version of El Vito.

Olé

By the way, the current video in SHS only lasts about 8 minutes, while the original piece lasts about 18 minutes and is on youtube.

I'd also like to say that Coltrane's piece is an instrumental. However, in SHS we can see that it is assigned the character of a song with English lyrics (Language English)

dany I never got aware of your comment.

As for last two pararaphs:

I actually added two clips for Olé (Coltrane's 1st recording) marked as Part 1 and Part 2. As listening to the 2nd part requires clicking the > button beneath the Pt. 1 clip, I now added an according public comment.

In spite of some PROs also listing Coltrane for lyrics, Olé (the work) and all versions are set as instrumental(s).
