Summertime by Phonic Chat

The lullaby from Gershwin’s classic, Porgy and Bess is a jazz-evergreen that has probably the most covers in music history. This version of the song is rather rare in tempo and also in orchestration. Hungary’s most distinguished jazz singer, Nikoletta Szőke brings this sleepy vibe to an electric mood and the amazing musicians, the incredibly talented Mike Gothard (solo gitar) and Győző Oláh (keys) fill up the solo parts in a way that makes the audience fly away with its flow. The best compliment to its tempo is performed by the Gudics-twins, Máté (drums) and Martin (bass). This cover was recorded live by Phonic Chat production.
