'People Are Strange' is my tribute to the Doors, a band unique with a wide range of musical & lyrical talent. This is my take on the song, done in my own humble way, but hopefully retaining the integrity of the tune. Thinking of the lyrical content, made me think about outsiders from society, that made my thoughts go to homeless people. The pain, the broken hearted, left with emptiness, and hopelessness, surrounded by a sea of humans mostly walking past them ignoring them. To them the Passersby are the strange ones, every once in a while throwing them a dollar or more, while on their busy way. Over half a million Americans are homeless in the USA.
