Winning song of the Festival di Sanremo 1959. First performed during the IX Festival di Sanremo 1959 held at the Sanremo Casino in Sanremo between 29 January and 31 January 1959. According to the rules of this edition every song was performed in a double performance by a couple of singers or groups. In this case by Domenico Modugno and Johnny Dorelli.
