From the 1933 romantic comedy Jimmy and Sally. The song is often erroneously credited to the uptempo Burton Lane & Ned Washington song from the same era. It was performed by Ted Lewis in Here Comes the Band (1935), but no further recordings seem to exist.
The Gorney-Clare classic goes like: "You're my thrill, you do something to me, you send chills right through me. When I look at you 'cause you're my thrill, how my pulse increases, I just go to pieces, every time I look at you, I can't keep still. Hm, nothing seems to matter, hm, here's my heart on a silver platter, etc." - Published by
