- A folk song originating from the Swedish province Dalarna. The best known arrangement was done by Otto Frederik Tullberg ca. 1840 and the lyrics were first printed in "Runa", a collection edited by Richard Dybeck in 1843, which is why the song is occasionally credited those two.
