Abraham Lincoln's campaign song in the 1860 election. Lyrics attributed to Jesse Hutchinson, Jr. of The Hutchinson Family Singers, and set to the melody of "Old Rosin the Beau". This song was initally called "Liberty Ball" and after Huthison's in 1853 the lyrics were modified slightly into the campaign song.
HURRAH for the choice of the nation!
Our chieftain so brave and so true;
We'll go for the great Reformation—
For Lincoln and Liberty too! - Licensing
