- "I"m Leaving You" (aka I'm Leaving You This Lonesome Song) was written and recorded by the Delmore Brothers in 1933. In 1963, Mike Seeger made a field recording of Sara and Maybelle Carter singing the song and their version was eventually released in 1997. Many of the modern performers of this song know it from the Carters' version so it's often incorrectly attributed to the Carter Family on their releases.
