An English-language nursery rhyme and musical round dating from the 1600s. A version of this rhyme was first published in "Deuteromelia" or "The Seconde part of Musicks melodie" (1609). The editor of the book, and possible author of the rhyme, was Thomas Ravenscroft.

The "three blind mice" were Protestant loyalists (the Oxford Martyrs, Ridley, Latimer and Cranmer), accused of plotting against Queen Mary I, daughter of Henry VIII who were burned at the stake, the mice's "blindness" referring to their Protestant beliefs.
