Recalling the writing of 'Sugar Shack' Keith McCormack said, "I kind of wrote the song and ad-libbed it straight through one night in late 1962 in my aunt Faye's living room. But I couldn't remember what you called those tight pants girls wore at the time (leotards) so I asked my aunt (= Faye Voss) and we kind of finished the song together. "Actually, at the time I though 'Sugar Shack' was kind of silly." From Texasonline
