- Following the disbandment of his indie rock group, The I-Rails, Californian singer-songwriter Chris O'Connor recorded a solo album of songs that had been intended for the group's fifth album. Some years after recording these songs, and having worked outside the music business, he secured a record deal and the album "Rocket" was remastered and released using the pseudonym Primitive Radio Gods. Successful sales led to him re-forming The I-Rails and recruiting an additional guitarist to perform under the new name.
