Absolutely obscure version here: it sounds almost identical to Eddy Mitchell's 1964 version, but any further information is lacking..........

I'm guessing this is some sound-alike compilation aimed for the 60s generation. I don't have much personal use for these recordings, but Seb and I decided it was best to account for them on site. Otherwise, we are risking repeated submissions….

In that case I will defer this to Sebastian, because I really hate these submissions.....

I’m not a fan of these anonymous cases either. I only do some to help clear the backlog. I would be quite happy if all such cases were excluded from the database!

Perhaps Seb has changed his position on "accounting for" these types, but my position remains the same.

These recordings generally come to my attention while searching for more legit covers. Until I research and listen, I don't know for sure what it is. To keep from finding and doing it all over again, I keep the performance in my notes so that it's accounted for. Throw a bad fish back in the sea risks catching the same one over again. Better to keep (perhaps using a different bucket, e.g. a sound alike tag) to eliminate that risk.

I have no idea how to handle this, so I will just leave it like that...............

Standard comment:

Recordings like this will likely be resubmitted by me or someone else, resulting in duplicate and/or wasted efforts by both contributors and editors. Accounting for soundalikes on site is the best option.
