In a Monastery Garden by Albert Ketèlbey was composed by him in 1915 after a visit to a real monastery garden.

It has been recorded by many artists ever since that time. The earliest version SHS has in the database at this moment (August 2018) is by Spencer Shaw, a British organist in the first half of the 20th century and his release dates from November 1926.

We will keep looking for more covers and have included one Finnish cover to date: Luostarin puutarhassa by Pentti-Oskari Kangas and his band.
