- An American-born journalist, artist, author, film actor, folk singer and popular radio and television personality. He was called "The Giant", not only because of his height (around 2 m), but also because of his big heart. He had a special love for the Norwegian seaman, and when he died, all Norwegian ships all over the world blew their horns simultaneously to honor him.
