- Professional whistler who arrived i Sweden in 1946 and stayed. In his early career also a singer (for a while holding a world record for singing more than 18 hours), yodler and dancer, Eide later concentrated on perfect whistling sounding like a piccolo flute. He was known to be a restless performer.
