- Mezzo-soprano singer and harpist from Cardiff who studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music in The Hague and played harp with the Netherlands Ballet Orchestra before commencing a singing career with the Netherlands Opera Company. In 1994, she was awarded the OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) for her services to British cultural interests in The Netherlands.
