Born in Chicago, she was an evangelist by age six years old and was known as "The Soul Saving Sensation of the Sawdust Trail." As a child she traveled extensively with her father in the United States, Australia and other countries. By age 12 she was ordained as a minister. On May 23, 1959 she appeared on the British television show, "Oh, Boy!" with Cliff Richard, Marty Wilde and Billy Fury.
