The J.B.'s
and
The J.B.'s
Note the double entry in the relations (in the Fred Wesley listing also), which I hope is fixable.
Consider that rather than Fred Wesley & The J.B.s being a joint artist, that Fred Wesley & The J.B.s be an alias of The J.B.s. Compare dates here:
http://www.funky-stuff.com/Wesley/index.htm
with (for example) what is in the database and you will see he is a member at those times, and those times only. Then relate Fred Wesley as a member of The J. B.s. So I do consider the groups to be identical and I think the revised arrangement is a clearer heirarchy also.
There is also exists a Fred Wesley & The New J.B.s, BTW; no database listings yet.
in any case, it would be useful to relate the J.B.s to James Brown ("other") with the comment that the J.B.s are James Brown's backing band. You would also (I think) need to create the Fred Wesley/J.B.s relation to find all common listings.
