Error description
History
Possibly not an earlier version as the original Spanish version, which was written by Rafael Acosta Córdoba, the drummer of Los Locos del Ritmo....
Well, except that the lyrics are totally different, so it is a different adaptation. I should have made that clear-- that is why I spent so many hours on researching this version-- I know you won't post any w/o the writer of the lyrics, so it was a sort of-- just so you know (and maybe some help with research). And I can't just tell you to listen-- it is in Spanish-- but note the titles. The one by LDR has a title Triste Dia --i.e., Sad Day. The one I am sending is Ven Gitana --i.e. "Gypsy Woman" and more closely (in theme) resembles the original by RN.
BTW-- I often find more than one version in Spanish of many songs-- all give credit to the original writers of the Eng version (unlike the reggaes that I often find), but rarely list the writer of the Spanish lyrics-- often written by a member of the band (as this one) but more often a relative or friend of one of the band members OR the producer, label owners, etc. (just about anyone-- like I've mentioned, for a few $$ )
may 2019;
i am reposting ven gitana (and will also post lagrimas solitarias (lonely teardrops) as "not for sale video only. This group, los blue kings, were around for only 2 years and released under their own (non successful) label, thus there is no info on the release, .although there is lots of info on them and their songs are available on a later and recent compilation.
where's what is t the new comment? nothing here
