- If the Audio Single has no explicit title, choose the song on the A-side as title for the single.
- If there is no explicit A-side, choose as title the song that was promoted on Billboard.
- Special cases
- Split single: If the split single has no explicit title, the title of the single should "Title Song A - Title Song B".
- Double A-sided single: The title of just 1 song, preferably the most famous song.
- Soundtracks: If there is a subtitle on the cover, or a title on the spine referring to "Music from the Motion Picture Soundtrack" (or a similar expression), this should be included in the title of the release at the end of the title, and separated from the actual title with a dash. Advertising pieces in separate balloons or stickers are excluded from this rule.
