- 2 x LP (with side 4 only being 6:59) of improvisations recorded at a concert at the Cologne, Germany, opera house on January 24, 1975, which was promoted by the then only 18 years old Vera Brandes (who later became a Jazz impressario). On the labels the tunes are numbered from I to II c (referring to the performances - Jarrett left after less than half an hour but returned) and were copyrighted with 'real titles' in the afterhand. With a world wide sales figure of 3.5+ million copies, this is not only the best selling Jarrett but also Jazz musician solo record.
