Just a Dream

I've recently come across a remake of Just A Dream (the 1958 Jimmy Clanton song). Judging by the sound and recording quality, I'd guess it was recorded in the early or mid-60s... the singer and style suggest Tex-Mex/Chicano.

The version I'm asking about sounds a lot like Clanton's. Could it be Sunny & The Sunliners perhaps? I've found some mentions of a version by Sunny Ozuna (of S & the Sunliners), a version by Sunny & the Sunliners and one by Little Jimmy Edward (Added in the meantime). I'm left with the impression that, at the very least, Ozuna did a solo version late in his career (this one sounds too old to be the Ozuna solo version).

Most references to the Sunliners/Edwards versions left some room for doubt... I want to be sure there wasn't confusion with the Clanton version in those references.

Can anyone help?

Both Bobby Vee (Added in the meantime) and Brian Hyland (Added in the meantime) did 1960's covers of Just A Dream.

FYI: Here's a cover tha might be the one requested. You tube identifies it as Sunny and the Sunliners, but I have searched a lot and cannot find the recording data. There is alos a cover by Sunny's son, who states his dad recorded it. "....Uploaded on Feb 10, 2012 Here is another oldie by my dad I rerecorded in my studio, ....."

All versions mentioned added in the meantime.

No sign of a Sunny and the Sunliners cover though.
