A release with no tracks

How is this possible?

Vivian Chow, for example, has ten different releases but only six covers (and no originals).

And three of the covers were added by me yesterday to existing releases with no tracks.

Second, sounds like some releases were orphans prior to your additions. Which releases? Which editor added them? My guess: The artist was a work in process by that editor but was never finished.

It seems performances were added since, but for example 心事重重 {Xin Shi Chong Zhong} - (Vivian & Her Mind) is still an orphan release. Clee J , would you mind adding the covers you had in mind to that release please? We try to avoid having orphan releases in the database.

Down to 219 orphan releases. The majority were added by retired editors. There are still 84 set up by active editors.

There are still 84 set up by active editors.

Surely, everybody tries to avoid adding 'orphan' releases and likely, they are being added because they include recordings to be added, too (not vice versa), and there are many reasons why that occasionally doesn't happen.

There is nothing wrong with being reminded if one is found and if any active editor turns out to have added loads, it's surely worth (and more loyal) to notify him/her via PM rather than blaming indirectly by referring to stats.

Anyway, I have (only) one left and will look into that one in due course. Thanks for reminding.

Processed my orphan releases; completed one and deleted the other.
