Hello SHS Community,

I’m so happy to meet you all. I curate a monthly radio show at Maker Park Radio, a nonprofit community radio station in Staten Island, NY. I have been using this amazing database since 2017 and finally decided to jump in and start contributing. I just made my first 2 submissions and am wondering if there is a best practice guide somewhere on this site?

I understand obvious items like youtube, spotify and artist websites but where does one find the verifiable information listed below?

• artist country

• artist birth date

• artist visual

• release date

• label

• catalog number or EAN

• release content type

• release format

Also, I don’t seem to have the ability to update my submissions to add more information as I find it.

Any guidance is appreciated, thank you.
