Hello everyone,

The game Far Cry 6 was released with a song called "El Bella Ciao de Libertad" by La Sonora Yarana. I am looking for the lyrics to the song, but unfortunately, I cannot find them anywhere.

El Bella Ciao de Libertad on Youtube:

I was hoping someone could help me out with this. (I'm so interested because I like learning Spanish through Spanish song lyrics.) This is my first post on this website, so please forgive me if I didn't follow proper guidelines.

According to Wikipedia, "El Bella Ciao de Libertad" is a Spanish version with altered lyrics of the Italian folk song "Bella Ciao".

He despertado

Encadenado

Oh bella ciao bella ciao

bella ciao ciao ciao

La tierra mia, me la han robado

Y han incendiado mi país

Abran sus ojos, hay un tirano

Oh bella ciao bella ciao

bella ciao ciao ciao

Ese tirano, desde su torre

Nuestras cadenas ha de ver

El movimiento, de libertad

Oh bella ciao bella ciao

bella ciao ciao ciao

Es para todos Es un gran fuego.

Que a nuestra isla salvara

Juntos peleamos, solos morimos

Oh bella ciao bella ciao

bella ciao ciao ciao

Quememos todos, altas cenizas

Y volveremos a empezar

Podrán golpearme, ametrallarme

Oh bella ciao bella ciao

bella ciao ciao ciao

Con mi sonrisa, ensangrentada

Nuestra lucha continuara

Y si me muero lo hare riendo

Oh bella ciao bella ciao

bella ciao ciao ciao

Y si me cuerpo arde en las llamas

Seran llamas de libertad

Maybe even older roots ?

And the lyrics of "Bella Ciao" were probably derived from "Fior Di Tomba".

This song can be found in "Canti popolari del Piemonte" by Costatino Nigra, 1888.

It's song #19 version I on page 133 of that book;

Hello jojo,

Thank you very much for providing the lyrics to that song for me. I really appreciate the time you took to do that for me. I am planning on learning the lyrics to the song to help myself to learn the Spanish language.
