Bluenose launched 100 years ago this month (March 26, 1921), in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. She broke records as both a working fishing vessel and racing schooner. Canadians who still carry cash may recognize her from the dimes in their pockets. Unfortunately after making all that history, Bluenose was sold in 1942 and ultimately sank in the Caribbean in 1946.
