- Actor, whose roles included Louis XIII in the 1984 muscial "The Three Musketeers" and the balladeer in the 1976 revival of The Threepenny Opera [1976] with Raul Julia. His nerdy, pudgy appearance made him perfect for comic roles particularly in the late '80s and 1990s. Among his more prominent roles are the duplicitous Dr. Edgemar in "Total Recall", the 1990 American science fiction action film directed by Paul Verhoeven starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
