- Blues singer, songwriter,guitarist and television personality known for her deep baritone voice. She was born in Göteborg, Sweden and moved with her family to the U.S. when she was seven years old. She began her recording career at age 13 in 1961. Later in the 1960s she was active in the San Francisco blues scene. She wrote screenplays and television shows and hosted the "Stay Tuned" and "Poetry Corner" TV shows.
