- Accordion player, who founded a trio with his two brothers Altti U. Laiho (1939-2017) and Pentti K. Laiho (1944- ). An opportunity to perform outside Finland opened in 1967 and the Laiho Trio made their first North American tour in the years 1968 and 1969. Under the name Oliver, Laiho made a radio broadcast of Elvis's old songs and asked Chrisse Johansson for translation of the lyrics, which was the start of her career as a lyricist in 1969.
