Comments: Hispanic-Argentine rock music band founded in Madrid, formed by two Argentine and two Spanish musicians.
At first the band was going to be called "Los Locos", but they soon learned that there was already an Asturian group with that name. The final name is because Calamaro found the meaning of the expression "estar de Rodríguez" in Spain (expression that is said when the head of the family has to stay in the city for work issues while his wife and children they enjoy on the beach), because he himself "estaba de Rodríguez", since he had left his girlfriend in Argentina.
