- Formed in 1957, this group is still active as of 2015 and claims to have been Lansing, Michigan's first rock 'n' roll band. The Blue Echoes are more precisely known as a rockabilly outfit, and they are included as one of Rockabilly's "legends" by the on-line Rockabilly Hall of Fame.
