- Harpist born in Florence; he began playing harp at age four. In 1908, he received his diploma in harp and became an honarary member of the Royal Academy Of Music of Florence. In 1909, his family moved to London, which became a base for Lorenzi who played his harp throughout Europe. Lorenzi played both jazz and classical music.
