CORRECTION: This is the Swedish version, translation by Hello ,

Backed by "Egil Monn-Iversens Orkester".

The correct title is "Det Som Sker - Det Sker" (the differences can be very subtle between Norwegian and Swedish...)

The Norwegian single is this one: https://secondhandsongs.com/case/70550

Remarks:

Sung in Norwegian, but released in Sweden. There is probably (certainly) a Norwegian release as well but it should also be from 1956.

Well poo. How is this poor American supposed to tell these apart? As best I can determine from all of the above, she released both a Swedish and Norwegian version in rapid succession:

There are two autogens with nearly identical runtimes:

Hehe, yeah be aware whenever you see Egil Monn-Iversen or Arne Bendiksen on anything. Between them they had an *enormous* output, churning out these records and flooding Scandinavia with hurried covers of current, international hits. Typical workflow would be to record the vocals in both Norwegian and Swedish in the same session. Not so much Danish as that is harder for Norwegians to mimic in a believable way.

Sometimes the spelling gives it away, other times you just have to listen. Both can be subtle differences even to natives, as Norwegian and Swedish is quite similar (I'm sure big brother Sweden would disagree). If you're ever in need of assistance here just give me a holler and I'll be happy to help. Fellow Norwegian Frokor will also be able to tell these apart.

Well then. Get to work on my recent Nordic submissions. Smile

I'm limiting "official" submissions to those where I need language confirmation, though others can be noted in the post....
