Musical by David Henker based on series of novels by Robert Smith Surtees. Based on the fictional character of John Jorrocks, a sporting cockney grocer who specialised in the importing of tea – which had made him a fortune. The pieces were published in novel form as Jorrock’s Jaunts and Jollities.
First opening at the Wimbledon Theatre in London before switching to London's West End
