Do you have a source confirming that this is an instrumental cover of "California Dreamin'"
Wikipedia, for example, suggest that it is Part 4 that is the cover.
The shortest one of the "Requim for Molly" tracks that I have (approx 2:33) is the one containing a fragment of "California Dreamin'". This is part 3. On the Wikipedia part 3 is the shortest track as well.
Part 4 (approx 3:00) contains sound effects and some fingerpicking.
I have no original record, but Wikipedia is at least inconsistent; Part 3 is probably the cover.
