- Musical in two acts composed, written and produced by Noël Coward. The show is a period piece, set in the year 1906 at the fictional "Jubilee" theatre. It followed the usual pattern of pre-West End run at the Opera House in Manchester from 17 February 1938 to 12 March 1938. It then transferred to His Majesty's Theatre in London on 16 March 1938 for a brief 133 perfomances closing on 9 July 1938. It was largely viewed as a pale shadow of Coward's finest operetta "Bitter Sweet".
