Back to Black was written and performed by English singer and songwriter Amy Winehouse from her second and last studio album Back to Black (2006). It was released by Island Records in 2007. The song was written by Winehouse and Mark Ronson, and produced by Ronson. "Back to Black" was inspired by Winehouse's relationship with Blake Fielder-Civil, who had left her for an ex-girlfriend.
